The Kukryniksy was the name taken on by Soviet Union artists Porfirii Nikitich Krylov (1902–1990), Mikhail Vasil'evich Kupriianov (1903–1991), and Nikolai Aleksandrovich Sokolov (1903–2000) during their long career of collaboration.
12 posters featuring the work of Kukryniksy, a group of Soviet Union cartoonists. The posters are in a cover that is dated 1977, but undated individual posters were probably created in the early 1970s and prior to that. The subject matter is largely related to the Cold War. All of the words in the posters are in Cyrillic script.
This is a single folder collection.
The Special Collections Research Center holds other political poster collections including the East German poster collection political series and the French Communist Party poster collection.
