This collection contains a letter from Lewis Williams in Washington, D. C., to Andrew Rincoinnon(?) in Wythe County, Virginia, dated January 17, 1835. Lewis wrote of the postal service from Salem, Virginia, to Wythe County. In the letter, Williams asks that Rincoinnon draft a petition to send to the Postmaster General.
