This collection consists of a bound manuscript text written by an unidentified late 18th- or early 19th-century physician. (The text appears to have been written in two different hands.) The volume refers to causes and symptoms of, as well as cures for, such maladies as hemorrhages, fainting, gout, morbid congestions, and jaundice. Suggested cures include cathartics and leeches.
