The VPI Class of 1917 Reunion Letters contains two letters enclosed in an envelope dated February 20, 1931 announcing the dates of the 1917 class reunion. It also contains a questionnaire for the alumnus to fill out and return to the school. One letter written to VPI Class of 1917 Alumni from H. B. Redd, the Secretary-Treasurer of the Alumni Association at the time, asks the alumni to fill out a questionnaire of which information was used in the Techgram and for the class roster. The second letter from John H. East, Class of '17, concerns arrangements for the reunion during commencement. The letter encourages the classmates to bring their "boy or boys" to show them VPI so they might want to attend. The questionnaire includes questions such as name, address, and occupation and personal news.
