This collection was purchased by Special Collections and University Archives in September 2014.
The processing, arrangement, and description of the Waldavet Club Recipes Manuscript Recipe Book was completed in September 2022.
This collection includes a handwritten recipe book made with wooden covers. The outside cover says "Kitchen Scraps," and the inside of the book has a handwritten title "Waldavet Club Recipes." The book is from "Christmas 1954." This book may have been a gift to Ella Kesner from Daisy Wilson. Most of the recipes are for desserts and have names next to them, possibly for the club member who contributed the recipe. There are also a few magazine cutout recipes at the front of the manuscript.
