The Mildred Blokker Photograph Collection was donated to Special Collections and University Archives in May 1984.
The processing, arrangement, and description of the Mildred Blokker Photograph Collection was completed in June 2023.
Mildred Payne Blokker (1919-1993) graduated from Virginia Agricultural and Mechanical College and Polytechnic Insititue (VPI) with a degree in Home Economics. Blokker worked at the VPI Extension Serivce as a Home Economist and Program Leader. She also served as the National Executive Secretary and Treasurer for Epsilon Sigma Phi, the Extension Honorary Fraternity.

The collection contains eighteen photographs of exhibits and events around Virginia collected by Mildred Blokker from about 1912-1919. The collection also includes photos of Cadets involved with the athletics department at Virginia Agricultural and Mechanical College and Polytechnic Institute.
