Not much is known about ABC employee Mike Cooper. There is an item in the collection labeled as "Michelle Cooper," so it is possible that "Mike" was used as a nickname.
This collection contains materials from an ABC News employee (most likely a technician) named Mike Cooper in the late 1960s. It includes signed photos of astronauts Edwin E. ("Buzz") Aldrin, Jr., James A. Lovell, Jr., and Frank Borman; behind-the-scenes photos of the 1969 Apollo launch and ABC news coverage; NASA issued photos and press releases; ephemera such as press badges, a commemorative matchbook, and patch; postcards; NASA brochures; and materials related to ABC News coverage of the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble, including photos, press releases, and logistical information.
This collection is divided into folders according to topic. Folders are arranged mostly chronologically, with Apollo and Grenoble Olympics materials grouped together.
