Samuel M. Hileman was a physician in Kerr's Creek (Rockbridge Co.), Virginia in the late 19th century.
This collection contains bound volumes kept by Rockbridge County physician Samuel M. Hileman. One volume is of his medical lecture notes taken at the University of Virginia. The other four volumes are his account books from his practice. They include his records of treatment and his fees charged and payments received. The accounts for 1862-1865 are entered in a daybook of a Collierstown, Virginia general store.
