Biographical Information:

Charles L. Quittmeyer was a professor of Business Administration at the College of William and Mary (1948-54; 1962-88) and the author of "The Development of Business Administration as a Field of Study at William and Mary." He held the following degrees: A.B., College of William and Mary; M.B.A., Harvard University; Ph.D., Columbia University. The collection includes: notes and background materials gathered by Professor Charles Quittmeyer for use in writing his work "The Development of Business Administration as a Field of Study at William and Mary" (1984); course materials and syllabi; student papers; office files; and other material.
