In 1944 Rachel was able to return to school and resume her studies at the Polytechnic in Transylvania. She received her diploma in 1950 in architectural engineering. Rachel started work as a designer at the Design Institute in Bucharest. After 10 years with the Institute she moved to Israel. In Israel Rachel's design work has focused on governmental institutions and offices. She has taught in both high schools and professional schools and has worked on developing new materials for architectural uses.
The collection consists of architectural sketches of some of Rachel's work including an opera house, Complex for Winter Olympiada, Indian Museum, Privat-Expo Museum, Modern Sculpture Museum, and private residences and academic buildings. Also included is Rachel's curriculum vitae.
