Biographical Information
Warren, Virginia is located along the James River, approximately 5 miles upstream from Scottsville, Virginia. A railroad depot, post office and tavern were all businesses in the Warren village. A ferry provided access across the James River to nearby Buckingham County.
Scope and Content
Collection consists of 7 photographs and 1 postcard of Warren, Virginia. The store in Warren is featured in 2 photos. Additional photos feature the Warren Train Depot; the Rock House Tavern; and Warren Mill. The postcard photo was taken by: W.E. Burgess, Scottsville, Va., and features two buildings and a train line into Warren.
