Scope and Content Information
This anonymous nineteenth-century, manuscript cook book contains recipes attributed to the Mesdames Elwin, T. Watson and L. Wickam. Includes recipes for meat, seafood, puddings, fruits, and wines. Also contained are directions for dying buff and for making cement. Several unsigned poems appear in the back of the volume.
