Biographical / Historical
John R. Wikoff graduated in 1956 from Old Dominion University, then known as the Norfolk Division of the College of William and Mary. Wikoff and his classmates were the first group of students to graduate with undergraduate degrees from the Norfolk Division.
Scope and Contents
This collection contains a 1956 Norfolk Division of the College of William and Mary class ring, bachelor degree, news clipping and biographical information regarding John R. Wikoff, one of the 15 members of the class of 1956. The class of 1956 was the first class to receive bachelor degrees from the Norfolk Division.

Class of 1956 Gold Ring1956Scope and Contents
Gold ring with green stone in the setting with "College of William and Mary in Virginia" surrounding it. One side of the ring has "1693" and the coat of arms of William & Mary. The other side of the ring has "1956" and the Norfolk Mace. Inscribed inside the ring are the initials J.R.W. and B.S. for bachelor of science.
