Biographical Note
Born in 1872, Francis Burke Fitzpatrick went on to establish a distinguished career as an educator in Southwest Virginia. Fitzpatrick worked as a teacher, principal, superintendent, and from 1919 until his death in 1943 served as Professor of Education at Radford State Teacher's College.
Scope and Contents
This collection contains an unbound typescript copy of the "History of Ingles Ferry, Virginia" written in 1936 by Francis Burke Fitzpatrick.
