The processing, arrangement and description of this collection commenced and completed in September 2006. Preliminary processing took place in 1960.

Scope and Content

Collection consists of materials dating from 1852 to 1912 and includes loose ledger sheets for the household expenditures of Dr. John B. Slusser, an advertisement from the Pressed Steel Car Company, a receipt from the Virginia Tech dining hall, a United States patent application for a nut-lock invented by Murray C. and William J. Slusser, and pages from a personal account book.
