Biographical Note

Joseph Simmons Musgrave, Sr., was born in December 1863. He graduated from VAMC in 1883. In 1886, he married Lalla Pope. They had five sons. Musgrave, Sr., died in 1949.

Scope and Content

The collection contains two copies of a photograph depicting the home of Joseph Simmons Musgrave, Sr., in Southampton County, Virginia.
