The processing, arrangement, and description of the Richard Aldington Book Typescripts was completed prior to 2010. Additional description was completed in November 2010.
Biographical Note
Richard Aldington was born July 8, 1892, in the United Kingdom. During his long career as a poet, critic, translator, and biographer, he authored more than 70 works. His novels included: Death of a Hero (1929), All Men are Enemies (1933), and Women Must Work (1934). He died in July 1962, shortly after his 70th birthday.
Scope and Content
This collection consists of two typescripts--one the original and the other a carbon--both revised, of Richard Aldington's Women Must Work (1934).

A bound text with the revised typescript is followed by the revised carbons.
