William F. Goad was a resident of Pittsylvania County, Virginia. He was probably a tobacco merchant, and he had a daughter named Mary Myers.

William F. Goad Account Book collection includes an account book which consists of a copy of Goad's will, dated 1891, which mentions his daughter, Mary Myers.
