Biographical Note
James Taylor, son of James and Eleanor Smith Taylor, was born in Virginia ca. 1765. He married Tabitha Boaz (1783-1881) in Patrick County, Virginia, in 1806; the couple would have four children. James Taylor died in Patrick County ca. February nuary, 1814.
Scope and Content
This collection consists of a single page providing the inventory of the estate of James Taylor, of Patrick County, Virginia. Completed February 12, 1814, the inventory is signed by George Fulcher, M. Sandefun, Wm. Jones, and Jno. Clark. The inventory lists the values of various household and farm items, including tools, furniture, and livestock.
