Scope and Content

The Map of 1937 Merrimac Community is a map of the Merrimac coal mining community in Montgomery County, Virginia, as it was in 1937. It was produced by the Appalachian Studies Program and the Landscape Architecture Program at Virginia Tech in 1996.
