The processing, arrangement, and description of the Photograph of Unidentified Woman commenced and was completed in August 2009.

Scope and Content

Although this photograph is unmarked, the woman's clothing would suggest that it was taken during the Victorian era (1837-1901) or the following era–the Edwardian era (1901-1910). In the photograph, the woman is holding a scroll; this scroll could, perhaps, be indicative of the woman's educational achievements.
