The collection contains Amanda Mouser's Honors Thesis titled, "The History of History: A History of the History Department at Virginia Tech, 1966-2009." The thesis describes the evolution of the study of history at Virginia Tech through an analysis of the developmemt and growth of the History Department, beginning in 1966. In addition to the department as a whole, the thesis also discusses the importance of individual faculty and staff.
