This collection contains hundreds of applications for pension from Confederate veterans and/or their widows. These applications come from people living in Roanoke, Virginia, at the time of their requetsts. Although undated, these applications are likely from the 1910s-1930s.

This collection is arranged in folders alphabetically by applicant's last name with supplemental materials at the end.
