Frank Field was valedictorian of the Washington and Lee University Class of 1874.

Scope and Contents

This collection consists of two letters that are dated December 26, 1872, and June 21, 1874, and which were written from Frank to his sister, Mrs. McCartney, while he was a student at Washington and Lee University.
