Lord Stirling is William Alexander, American Major General during the Revolutionary War and in the New Jersey Militia. In 1781, George Washington appointed him Commander of the Northern Army and Commander of the entire Continental Army when Washington was on personal business.)

A postcard with an airplane view of "Plan, Beach, River, Yorktown, Boats, Planes, Stock, Farm and some Buildings needed." Banner in postcard, "National Orphanage Home and Grounds, All Races and Denominations." Bottom of postcard says, National Orphanage, Gloucester Point, Virginia, Rev. M.M. Smith, Field Supt. The back is filled with printed information from their 1921-22 report.
