The collection is open to all researchers. Administrative History:
James W. "Jym" Robear, Jr. lived in Burlington, Chittenden County, Vermont. He struggled with Schizophrenia and died of AIDS in 1989.
Scope and Contents
The journal of Jym Robear details his struggles to come to terms with two major issues in his life: his identity as a gay man and his mental illness. Some pages include drawings made by Robear.
