Biographical Information:

Levin Joynes was the son of Levin Smith Joynes (1818-1881), a Richmond, Va. physician. He attended Richmond College (University of Richmond) and was a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. Scope and Contents

Letters, 1868-1916, received by Levin Joynes of Richmond, Va. from relatives and friends. Includes letters written from Virginia Military Institute as well as letters concerning Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. Acc. 2010.492 includes pencil drawings by Levin Joynes.
