Historical Note:
The Undergraduate Honor Council investigates and hears alleged violations of the College's Honor Code. The Council consists of twenty-four members of the undergraduate student body, eight from the sophomore class, eight from the junior class, and eight from the senior class. Members must be in good academic standing and may not be found guilty of an Honor offense or serious Judicial offense. Scope and Contents
The records of the College of William and Mary student Honor Council include trial and disciplinary hearing files, publications, fliers, lists of members, procedures, and other administrative information. The Honor Council records provide sporadic documenation of the body's work and procedures. Significant portions of the records are restricted.

Acc. 2011.227: Contains electronic copies of subject files, flyers, photographs, and news articles related to the Honor Council at the College of William and Mary from 2008 to 2011. Included in the files are drafts of bills presented to the Student Assembly to pass; presentations given by the Honor Council members of the College Community; and copies of bylaws for the Honor Council. This accession is closed until June 1, 2015.
