Scope and Contents
Laboratory manual, 1916-1917, of Patsy Emory of Chase City, Virginia. The following description was provided by the seller and has not been verified: "This is a copy of a school textbook titled: Laboratory Manual of Inorganic Chemistry, "One Hundred Topics in General, Qualitative, and Quantitative Chemistry", by Rufus P. Williams; published by Ginn & Company; 1896. This copy carries the name of Patsy Emory of Chase City, Va, and the dates 1916-1917. The book contains 100 experiments, each explained on the left-hand side of the opened book, with a blank page on the right, on which the student recorded her observations and findings. Teacher comments on the inside of front cover and on front flyleaf."
