Conditions Governing Access

Collection is open to all researchers. Manuscript collections and archival records may contain materials with sensitive or confidential information that is protected under federal or state right to privacy laws and regulations, such as the Virginia Public Records Act (Code of Virginia. § 42.1-76-91); and the Virginia Freedom of Information Act (Code of Virginia § 2.2-3705.5). Biographical / Historical

Margaret L.Templeton was a resident of Staunton, Virginia. She was the head of the local chapter of the National Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs. The letters she received are from various leaders of the organization.

Scope and Contents

This collection contains 26 letters and one pamphlet received by Margaret L. Templeton in 1931. The letters range from business correspondence to personal correspondence and the pamphlet documents updates to the National Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs of which Templeton was a member.
