The collection is open to all researchers. Handwritten commission for a trial signed by William Gooch, Lt. Governor of the then Colony of Virginia, to a list of men from Prince George County, Virginia. The order outlines the trial for an enslaved woman named Nutty, belonging to Lewis Green, held in gaol, for charges she murdered Sam, an enslaved male belonging to Burwell Green.
