Abstract
A list of Mason County medical practitioners alphabetically arranged, and including life span dates, parents' names, spouses'
name, dates of practice, region of practice, and titles of books where more information can be found. Mention is made of early
frontier doctors, James Craik and William Fleming. Craik was the doctor accompanying George Washington's surveying party to
Pt. Pleasant, and Fleming was the attending physician to the wounded at the Battle of Pt. Pleasant. Material covers the years
1770-1950.
