Abstract
World War I (WWI) correspondence of Lieutenant Robert Lynn Hogg, including 31 letters (94 pages) describing in detail his
experiences while serving in the United States armed forces in a non-combat role. Topics include officers, training, morale,
crossing the Atlantic, transportation, French customs, mustard gas, the wounded, Folies Bergere, the Red Cross, and Armistice
Day celebrations, among other subjects. There is also a photo portrait of Hogg, three photographic postcards, and ephemera.
