Abstract
Poll books from the Harrison County communities of Bridgeport, Lynch, Swishers Mills, Clarksburg, Lumberport, Romines Mills,
Shinnston, and Sardis indicating the vote on the 1861 Ordinance of Secession amendment to the Virginia constitution. The books
contain the names of individuals voting and how they voted as well as the oath of office of those officials conducting the
election.
