Biographical / Historical
Citizens for Responsible Wind Power (CRWP) came together in 2002. At the time, it was the only body opposing industrial wind turbine development in the highlands of West Virginia and neighboring regions. Since then, seven groups (in Grant, Greenbrier, Pendleton, and Barbour Counties in West Virginia, and one each in Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Maryland) have risen to take its place. As of March 2008 no new turbine projects are yet operating in West Virginia. CRWP, Inc. was dissolved in Spring, 2008.
