This collection includes materials pertaining to Lisa Diehl, an advocate for women on issues related to nontraditional employment,
economic self-sufficiency, and non-discrimination. She was a carpenter's apprentice in the United Brotherhood of Carpenters
and Joiners of America, 1977-1983. From 1983-1985 she worked for West Virginia Citizen Action. From 1985-1999, she worked
for the Center for Economic Options in Charleston, WV. In 2000, she founded and later served as a board member for West Virginia
Women Work. Ms. Diehl later worked as the Northern Regional Coordinator for West Virginians for Affordable Health Care. The
collection mostly documents her work in the 1983-1999 period on anti-discrimination, women's employment rights, and more.
