Eva M. Mountain (1915-1997) was the wife of Clifton R. Mountain (1912-1996) of Dover, Foxcroft, Maine. Scope and Contents
Diary, 1965-1969 of Eva M. Mountain (1915-1997) of Dover, Foxcroft, Maine. In brief daily entries she described daily chores and social life of herself and her husband Clifton R. Mountain. She would have been 50 years old at the time and makes references to working part-time and summers. She frequently mentions her son Stuart Rodney Mountain, who seems to have been in college or graduate school at the time. Also mentions local events and from time to time she comments on national and international occurrences .Also included are some loose items from the back of the diary, like notes with people's names and addresses and a few newspaper clippings.
